NOW FINANCE – Whistleblowing Policy
NOW FINANCE has a strong values based culture that encourages openness, integrity and accountability. We encourage our people to speak up and have open, honest conversations. Our Whistleblowing Policy has been developed so that you can freely and without fear of detriment raise concerns regarding situations where you believe that we have acted in a way that constitutes misconduct.
The Policy explains how you can report such concerns, how they will be investigated, what you can expect, and other sources of information that may be helpful to you in reporting your concern.
Who?
Who can make a report under this Whistleblowing Policy?
You can make a report under this Policy if you are a current or former:
(a) employee of NOW FINANCE;
(b) a person who is providing, or has provided goods or services to NOW FINANCE;
(c) employee or a sub-contractor of a person identified in (b) above;
(d) an officer or an associate of NOW FINANCE, for example a director or secretary of NOW FINANCE or of a related body corporate; or
(e) a relative or family member of any of the individuals listed at (a) to (d) above.
Exclusions:
Whole everyone is encouraged to speak up and report any concerns to NOW FINANCE, not everyone nor all types of concerns are intended to be covered by this Policy. Examples of the matters that are generally not intended to be covered by this Policy are:
Exclusion 1: Customer Complaints If you are a customer and are concerned with the way NOW FINANCE has handled any matter, product or service, including an existing complaint, please contact NOW FINANCE with your concern via phone on 1300 275 669. |
Exclusion 2: Personal Work-related Grievances If you are a current or former employee of NOW FINANCE and want to report a grievance that directly affects you personally in the context of your current or past employment, please contact the NOW FINANCE HR Manager on 1300 275 669. |
What concerns may be reported
Our Whistleblowing Policy defines what types of conduct can be reported. This includes actions which are:
- dishonest;
- fraudulent;
- corrupt;
- illegal;
- unethical;
- in breach of internal policies (including the Code of Conduct);
- misconduct or an improper state of affairs; or
- a danger, or represents a danger to the public or the financial system.
