Introduction
Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter is Now Finance Group Pty Ltd ACN 158 703 612 Australian Credit Licence number 425142 (“the Promoter”).
- The promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on 1 September 2023 and closes at 11.59pm AEDT on 30 November 2023 (“Promotional Period”).
Eligibility
- Entry to the promotion applies to all new customers who take out any NOW Finance personal loan, that is lodged and settled during the Promotional Period (“Eligible Entrants”).
- The individual must be an Australian resident aged 18 years and over who is eligible to settle a personal loan with the Promoter.
- Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, brokers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin. - This offer is open to new loan applications only and excludes variations to existing NOW Finance personal loan products including the refinancing of an existing NOW Finance personal loan. Refinancing from another company is fine.
Entry to the draw
- During the Promotion Period, Eligible Entrants will enter for the chance to win a AUD$5,000 Mastercard/Visa/Digital prepaid card (“the Prize”).
- Eligible Entrants will be automatically added to the Draw when they settle their new NOW Finance personal loan.
- An eligible loan is defined as a secured or unsecured personal loan of $5,000 or more, used for any loan purpose.
- If two or more people settle the same eligible loan, the Prize will be directed to Applicant One in the loan application.
- Eligible Entrants can receive extra entries to the Draw by completing any of the actions in the following table:

If Eligible Entrants apply and settle any NOW Finance loan via the ClearScore app or website within the Promotional Period, they will automatically receive an additional 49 entries to the Draw.
Prize Draws
- A draw will be conducted on Monday 4 December 2023 at 10am AEDT at the Promoter’s Head Office, level 6 468 St Kilda Road, Melbourne 3004, Victoria, Australia. One (1) valid entry will be selected based on random selection at the Promoter’s discretion. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the competition result or any other decisions the Promoter makes in connection with the Promotion.
- The winner of the Draw will be notified via their nominated phone number or email address within five Business Days of 4 December 2023.
- The winner will need to confirm how they want to receive the Prize: they will be given the option to receive a physical gift card via courier or a digital card via SMS. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to deliver the Prize to the mobile number or postage address provided by the winner. If the Prize is returned to the Promoter because it could not be delivered to the address provided, the Promoter cannot guarantee that it will be able to resend the prize to the Prize winner. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage to or delay in transit of the Prize.
- Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
- Once the winner has confirmed how they will accept the Prize, they:
- should allow up to 30 days after being notified to receive the Prize.
- If the winner does not receive the Prize within 30 business days from the date they were notified, they should contact NOW Finance at marketing@nowfinance.com.au.
- If the winner does not claim the Prize within 60 days of the Draw then a redraw will be conducted on Friday 2 February 2024 at 10am AEDT at the Promoter’s Head Office, level 6 468 St Kilda Road, Melbourne 3004, Victoria, Australia.
- It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure the postal address, email address and phone number supplied and entered is correct. NOW Finance is not liable to replace the Prize if the postal address, email address or phone number is incorrect.
- Rewards, including any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be converted to cash by NOW Finance. However, ATM cash withdraws may beaccepted by the Prize provider, The Corporate Prepaid Cards
- The Prize must be used in conjunction with The Corporate Prepaid Cards (https://corporateprepaidgiftcards.com.au/) own terms and conditions and within their expiry date.
- It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and The Corporate Prepaid Cards’ requirements. It is the responsibility of the winner to confirm such conditions with The Corporate Prepaid Cards or other relevant third parties.
Privacy Statement and Marketing Consent
- By participating in this promotion, the individual authorises the Promoter to collect, hold, use and disclose their personal information in the ways indicated herein and in NOW Finance’s privacy policy, including providing such information to third parties involved in the promotion and any relevant authorities. The details provided are true and correct and participating in this promotion is conditional on providing this information.
- NOW Finance or its third party business associates may, unless the individual tells us not to, use the information to communicate with them by mail or electronically by, for example, email, phone, SMS, hyperlink to provide them with direct marketing and commercial communications, offers to issue or sell financial, credit and other products, financial services and credit guides and other disclosure documents. The individual should direct any request to opt out of receiving marketing material, not receive telemarketing calls, access and update or correct their personal information to NOW Finance by calling 1300 275 669.
- The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy statement (https://nowfinance.com.au/legal-and-policies/) which adheres to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.
General
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the individual’s validity to receive reward (including the individual’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- to disqualify any individual; or
- to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- The Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
- any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
- any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
- any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter;
- any variation in reward value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
- any tax liability incurred by a Referrer; or
- use of the reward.
- Without limiting any other terms herein, the individual agrees to indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the above terms.
- NOW Finance reserves the right to, at any time, withdraw or extend this promotion or otherwise vary these terms and conditions.
